Rebates
Medicare provide rebates for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. The current rebate is $131.65 per session with a clinical psychologist. To access Medicare rebates clients will need a referral and a Mental Health Care Plan from their family doctor (GP), or a referral from a mental health specialist (e.g. psychiatrist or paediatrician). Many private health insurers also provide rebates. Rebates depend on your insurer and policy. Please enquire directly with your insurer for details.
